One of my fond memories happened on a calm morning by the lake. The water was perfectly still, reflecting the sky like a mirror. I was wrapped in a blanket, sipping coffee from my favorite mug, and letting the world slow down. In that peaceful moment, my mind wandered to our upcoming family vacation. It was going to be the first time in years that we were all together. I wanted something special to mark the occasion, something we could all share and remember.

Sitting there by the water, the idea for our River Life tank tops came to me. Each shirt would have our family name, the river we were visiting, and the year. A simple design that could hold a memory. When the vacation arrived, everyone wore theirs proudly. They weren’t just shirts, they became a way to capture the laughter, the late nights by the fire, and the joy of being together in such a beautiful place.

The experience showed me how powerful design can be when it’s tied to real life. What started as a personal project for my own family quickly turned into something I shared in my shop.
